Verified Copper Suppliers in Africa — Zambia, DRC & Bulk Export Supply
Updated October 2026
SokoDolla sources copper from verified suppliers in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo — copper cathodes, copper concentrate, and copper wire and scrap. Suppliers are checked before you commit capital.

We identify counterparties, verify company and licences, inspect the material, coordinate independent assay, and support the transaction through loading.
For recurring volume we scope the engagement around origin, grade, tonnage, destination and Incoterms. Start with a free RFQ, or ask us to verify a supplier you have already found.

SokoDolla Supplies Copper — Directly and Through Arrangements
SokoDolla is a supplier, not a directory. Depending on the transaction, we contract directly with the buyer, or we arrange supply from a licensed producer or export-licensed trader we have verified. In both cases the supply channel is checked before material ships, and we stay with the transaction through loading.
Direct supply
We contract with you for a defined product, grade, tonnage and delivery term, and coordinate inspection, assay, documents and loading ourselves.
Supply through arrangements
Where a licensed producer or export-licensed trader holds the lot, we arrange supply through a commercial arrangement with them, once their company, licence, authority to sell and stock have been verified.
Your own supplier, verified
If you have already found a supplier, we verify the company, licences, stock and material before you commit funds.
Verified Copper Supply, Not Just a Seller List
Our supplier pages are built around the questions an industrial buyer must answer before sending funds or signing a long-term contract.
Copper cathodes: LME Grade A / Cu-CATH-1 equivalent material, lot-specific verification and loading inspection.
Copper concentrate: typically 20–45% Cu, quoted on a dry metric tonne basis with payable copper, TC/RC and penalty terms made explicit.
Bulk procurement: supplier identification, commercial comparison, inspection coordination and document review for industrial buyers.
Origin and counterparty checks: company registration, mining/export authority, stock evidence, sanctions screening and independent assay.

Questions Buyers Ask
Do you sell copper directly?
SokoDolla sources and supplies copper to international buyers. Depending on the transaction we contract directly with the buyer or arrange supply from a producer we have verified. We are not the mine — we source from licensed producers and licensed exporters, and every channel is checked before material ships.
Which countries do you source copper from?
Our primary copper sourcing corridors are Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Dar es Salaam is one of the logistics corridors used for eligible shipments from the Copperbelt.
Can you verify a supplier I already found?
Yes. A buyer can provide the company name, offer, licence details or supporting documents and request a custom-scoped due diligence review before proceeding.
Which copper products and grades can you supply?
Copper cathodes at LME Grade A / Cu-CATH-1 quality (99.99% Cu), copper concentrate typically between 20% and 45% Cu, and copper wire and scrap to Millberry and ISRI specifications. The grade, brand and quantity are confirmed per lot before a quotation is issued.
How is the copper priced?
Cathodes are priced against the London Metal Exchange, with the brand, the pricing period and any premium or discount stated in the offer. Concentrate is priced per dry metric tonne on payable copper, less treatment and refining charges and penalties. Prices are quoted per request because they move with the LME and with the lot.
What payment methods do you use?
Irrevocable letter of credit or telegraphic transfer, depending on the order size and the contract. With a new counterparty, payment is staged against verified milestones such as independent inspection and shipping documents.
Which ports does the copper ship from?
Dar es Salaam, Durban and Beira, depending on the origin and the destination. The route and loading point are confirmed per lot, and we coordinate transport, export documents and loading supervision.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Trial shipments commonly start at one container, around 25 MT, and regular programmes are structured in monthly lots. The workable minimum depends on the product and the supplier, and it is confirmed in your quotation. Our guide to copper lot sizes and minimum order quantities sets out the typical ranges.
Can I inspect the copper before I pay?
Yes. You or your representative can visit the material, inspect it and witness sampling before the first payment, and an independent inspector such as SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek can be appointed. We recommend that every first transaction is run this way.
How do you verify a copper supplier?
We check the company registration and beneficial owners (PACRA in Zambia, RCCM in the DRC), the mining and export licences with the issuing register, the authority to sell the specific lot, the physical stock, and the assay certificate with the laboratory that issued it. Verification is completed before capital is committed.
